Meyer Lemon (Harvest) Dip

My First EVER Harvest of Meyer Lemons! ๐Ÿ‹

I have (finally!) managed to grow 5 Meyer lemons to maturity, and theyโ€™re insanely delicious! I made a zesty herbed dip that let my garden ingredients shine. I served it alongside a homegrown caramelized onion dip with homemade sourdough crackers and farmers market radishes for dipping. I served these dueling garden dips for a garden club meeting; I love preparing garden snacks for fellow gardeners, as their enthusiasm and appreciation simply bubbles over and always fills my cup! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

1 cup labneh*
Zest and juice of one Meyer Lemon
1-3 cloves garlic, grated (to your liking, and depending on the size of your garlic cloves)
1/2-3/4 cup chopped soft herbs, I prefer mostly parsley with some dill or tarragon
Salt to taste (1-3 teaspoons)
Olive oil (optional)

Combine all ingredients, reserving some herbs for garnish. To serve, garnish with herbs and even a drizzle of olive oil if you wish ๐Ÿ‹

*I find labneh (or labni) near the sour cream and cottage cheese at my grocery market, itโ€™s strained yogurt and has a similar texture to a soft cream cheese
